I went to the show today, weather was good. The K0 was interesting but a bit over priced for it's condition. The clocks where raised higher than normal, not sure if it's a Japanese spec or the owners adjustment?Outstanding Suzuki GT750 on showAlan
a very nice bike but not a very nice price in my eyes . ive often thought of painting one of mine like that one, but as you say we never got them in that colour
Well if you think that asking price for that KO is a bit over the top there is a 1965 CB160 listed on ebay at the moment starting at £5250 (item No 231287458853) the listing states in was restored by Rising Sun at a cost of £20000! That right twenty grand. Oh, and the asking price includes a can of fuel tank sealant! Clearly the tank is suspect.I have a CB160 which is more or less in the same restored condition but the fuel tank isn't suspect. It also lives in the house, not on display but hidden under the stairs. There really are some around who do value these bike way over the top.
Got to admit I don't bother with the "on all fours" guy anymore he is grumpy & dear
ash tell that guy with plug caps shove em where the sun don't shine you might still get em off german ebay that's where I got mine for about £70 I aint even fitted em yet as you say they was shite anyways although I have a set on my best bike that I don't even ride so that says it all I I do agree the brighton colour bike looks better , that was first time I ever saw a cb750,it was in a motorcycle mechanics magazine I still have it how sad is that I wasn't even legally old enough to ride a bike then but I could
I wonder if he sold the gold k0?pete
