Hi RGP,

This part # (42301-286-020) is common with the CB360T & CJ360T if this helps with the 'one for sale' mentioned.
I'm not near my own 400F til Tues... and if still needing the diameter info will measure then for you as the wheel off the bike.

The description 'very useable' suggests 'seen better days'(?) ... in which case I'd personally be thinking £10 for the shaft & £30 for the rim.  (the shaft has a rarity value / is discontinued tho')

This seller has both bits for sale (tatty) if you get desperate http://www.400fourbits.co.uk - he never published the costs.

Cheers,
Simon

Thanks Simon
He Isn't sure what model it is, I saw the ad with a view of possibly being a 750 for Bitsa's rebuild.
he bought it back in the 70's for a special and never used it, it's a complete wheel shaft, backplate, adjusters ,
and he says very good rim the term "usable" was mine. I sent photos of my 750 rear wheel and he says it looks very similar, but it has a 17mm shaft so cant be,. He says there are no markings on the rim so i think it may have been rebuilt at some time. I don't need one but is it worth getting to help out someone out or does someone on this site need it .
