To be fair though the seller 'BikePusher' has sold some parts at decent prices recently like tanks, chainguards etc. It just that people are paying silly money for the fiddly little bits that easily get lost. It's not that his initial price is extortionate its just people getting into bidding wars. wonder where he is getting the original exhaust parts from in nice/NOS condition?

Cheers ...Ash

Hello, I have bought a lot of spares from this Seller and he has very good items and hard parts to get. The price??  auctions start in a LOW PRICE, but there is a lot of crazy people and they bid very high. I got spares very cheap from he!!! He send Worldwide and I think that is serious and Honest  Ebayer.
Regards.

Last night I bought a flasher relay from 'Bike Pusher'.... remembering his last went from £7.99 to £12.50 in a last minute daft frenzy.  Anyways, I offered the £7.99 starting price with a top bid of a tenner... and went to bed.
Got it at £7.99... so no gripes from me. Have furthermore bought quite a few items form him in the past and honestly can't complain... always quick service & parts that honestly match their description.
And nope, I'm not on any kick-backs!

Agreed , the tanks and chromework he sold recently were a very  fair price. Wonder where he is getting the bikes to break from?

Cheers ...AshD

OK, and here I am, after one of my customers pointed me here (used to sub to the US forum, under a different name, some years back).

First, I want to take issue with steven400/4.  According to your mate who claims to have worked for me, I bid up my own auctions.  First, I don't.  Secondly, your mate has never ever worked for me, and this I know because there are just two people who have ever worked for my company, and they are me and my wife.  We have worked bloody hard to achieve eBay Top Rated Seller status, and I do not like seeing my livelihood jeopardised because some mouthy git decides to say things that aren't true.

For the rest - yes, I am utterly amazed at the prices some people pay for some items.  That cable guide is only the second of three that I have sold recently and they all made between £60-70.  You should understand that there are some people who are building bikes that must be 100% 'correct', and for some of these, money is no object when it comes to extremely rare items.  And God bless them, because they have put my younger child through university.

And thank you for the kind comments from two of my customers, and I recognise you both.

Now, I don't want to turn this into a commercial, because I think I have quite a bit to offer this forum (like I know 400 Fours absoluely inside-out), but I will say this: there are some right sharks out there, selling items that are either junk or not for 400 Fours at all.

We have tried to major on service: good and really, really accurately described parts, and on the rare occasions when we sell something that is not of top-notch quality, we say so.  We also despatch stuff very quickly, and on the very rare occasions when there's a quibble, offer an instant refund, including p&p costs.  And sometimes we say "keep the item as well" (as when I mistook a 400F starter motor for a 550F one - oops).

We also now send out a newsletter to customers, including technical tips and details of what goodies we have coming up soon.  Trust me when I say we are the Good Guys.  Which makes the earlier accusation even more irritating.

As for NOS stuff and where I locate it - it tends to fall into my lap.  Usually, NOS stuff goes straight back to Japan, believe it or not.  The Japs pay absolutely top dollar, but it must be NOS and preferably in the original packaging.
