One of the nicest unrestored Honda CB400 Fours you'll see, plus a lovely and amazingly original SOHC CB750F2, plus a ditto brace of 1974 CB125Ss (two-tone red/white and blue/white) and a Jap-built 1980 1,000-miles-from-new CG125.

So far....

Welcome. I recognise your handle from ebay - do you sell stuff on there? Nice collection of bikes...

James - yes, that's me.

The collection stretches a bit further than that, but those are the old Hondas.

Oddjob: this is on an M.  Both 125Ss are.  Probably selling the blue/white one, actually.  Bloke is waving £1400 at me.  It needs the wheels doing to be perfect.

I got it cheap because some lummock had rebored it, done everything, spent £750 on the paint, and then forgotten to re-connect the camchain adjuster to the tensioner blade so it still rattled.  He didn't know why it was making a noise, and I took a punt: I was certain that was the problem.  And it was.  Half an hour and one circlip later and it was running like a watch.

The red/white one is probably two grands' worth. Unrestored, 9000 miles, and utterly immaculate and original.

Mick - they only made the two/tone models with the colour-matched frame for one model year.
