There are quite a few on here but they they don't post that regularly. One showed me great kindness last week by agreeing to sell me a rare part. He knows who he is! Anything to stop those horrid bidding wars on eBay or HMRC stuffing us for import charges if we buy from the States.

Same here.  I've got loads of stuff I don't want to throw away, but which isn't valuable enough to justify listing on eBay.  Would much rather it went to a good home.

My bike is a hybrid 400/550/600 and I don't have a lot of specialist knowledge beyond what I've built - so not always in a position to answer posts with anything other than 'unhelpful' comments that probably don't add any value. In terms of spares - I've plenty of bits of 650...broken plastic battery tray; spare tabs & washers; choke cable brackets; fuse boxes;  - which anyone could have but there isn't much call for those on the forums.  So I'm always reading and enjoying the community here - but am reticent to add to posts where I can't provide any value.

Don't be shy Andy.. any comments most welcome! . It's not like some of the other forums where you get shot down in flames for minor gaffes in your posts!
