Down pipes - swap for sprocket "plate" anyone?
« on: September 25, 2014, 11:22:51 AM »

I acquired the no. 1 and no. 3 (clamped into collector) pipes from another member some time back.
They were well used ones that had been re-chromed overseas.
The pipes seem quite solid but in places the chrome is not great ie. small areas have blistered.
Now I have found NOS ones, these oldies are looking for a home.
I also have the single skinned DSS copies if anyone wants a nearly new pair of these ?

I am after the pressed steel ring for the rear sprocket - if anyone has one and wants some downpipes
please let me know !

Clem... check your PMs. Might be an option?

Ash.. you could be the man to help here what with your skills & toolings.... these sprocket guards are impossible to find as riveted to the original sprocket... which then gets thrown lock, stock & barrel.  DSS do not stock them.... but (I guess) might be please to.

Cheers,
Simon

Sorry but that would need a press tool, not laser cut. Have you tried looking for a 250/360 G5 twin one? It may be the same.

Cheers ... Ash

I'd do a swap - the sprocket's still on a bike, but should be available next week-ish.

Well, as per original.  Headers for sprocket.
