Today I fitted the exhausts off my other one and started her up.No strange noises and well happy until I put the tank on and turned the bars to full lock.Touches the tank both ways.Seems a k2 frame and a k5 lower tree are not compatable so will have to get my mate round to weld a bit on each stop or a nut or something, he will know what to do.Otherwise just a test ride to make sure all ok.Really could do with better guards but like I said afore will bide my time until good uns turn up.Oh yeah b4 anyone says it the stain underneath it is old not from the bike  :D
Cheers

Bitsa, You have high bars on both bikes. The high bars should not make contact with the tank or a low UK set would.

Bitsa, try pulling the tank back a bit and have a look at the bottom yoke stops. Something is not wright.

Wow, they do look really good Bitsa.

My memories of the first one I saw was a gold one, and they still look just as nice today. Lovely job on the second build up and obviously on looking after the first given the condition.

I like the "swinging a rabbit" bit Pete.
