Glad they chose the Candy Ruby Red colour of mine not that grotty Candy Blue-green  ;)
Incorrect red kill-switch knob, no recessed ignition blah blah blah and it's not the UK model !

Oh and they never consulted Lecram for the clock covers / faces !!

Cheers .. AshD

A rather expensive model, but considerably cheaper than a real sandcast! That said, I bought a rough but running 750K2 for less than £500 2 yrs ago, I know which was the better deal:))

hairygit - just what I was thinking.  £768.....

EDIT:  Just noticed that the parts are mailed to you every month, and "you can cancel at any time".  Perhaps, in a few decades there'll be a secondary market in hard-to-find components.  "The post office lost shipment number 17.  Has anyone got a right-hand upper exhaust?"

So more of a "breakers cupboard" than a breakers yard?

Too expensive methinks; and cheapened by 'simulated engine noise' blah blah... or rather, "brum brum".

But the manufactures have missed a trick; in denying 95% of the 750 market an opportunity to build the model as a personalised K2-K6; in supplying optional 'bars, sidepanels... & most of all offering a choice of colours.

But then again, they likely realise genuine CB750 owners are not the target customers as you can buy the real thing for bordering on the same sorta dosh.

Actually I  love the 'Grotty Candy Green Blue' but wanted to keep my K0 original and it was Candy Ruby  Red originally, so painted it red again. The CB350K1 (USA only) was avilable in the candy blue-green though, so I may do that in it.
