Chain guard is first model to make
production tool from,so be a couple of weeks or so
before the first ones are done.
I would like comments from ,what appears to be the 3 main k0 gurus
before selling these if that's ok guys.
As i have said before these any anything else i make have to be indistinguishable
from originals before i sell 'em
The first for appraisal will come to you then Pete

Ok rich, i will get a second opinion off my trusty assistant, you can see him at work inspecting some sandcast bits, note the marker pen to his right, he usually takes notes on his findings

Like to looks of that chainguard  Rich. Put me down for buying one, once you have the time.

Another thing I am looking for is a source of a fair few of  the rubber ''D shaped grommet that is on the points lead on both the 4's and the 250/350K twins.

Agree with J ... you certainly don't hang about !!

Cheers ... Ash

Yes will get hold of one.

The USA rear guard has completely different mounting holes to the UK one.

The USA sandcast/ K0 rear guard has two mounting holes a cable entry hole above, and a rubber gromit hole at the bottom
this is a 1969 two hole

The later guard which superceeds the two hole is the 3 hole
Here is the one coastguard is selling on ebay

Yours is a US import Rich and mine is a UK bike so not the same, and I have never owned one, so Pete/James are your mentors on that one.

I seem to remember reading in the CB750 superprofile book that only 36 KO's were sold in Britain, no wonder U.K. versions are so hard to find! Anyone know how many sandcasts were sold here?

My daughter has a rabbit just like yours Pete, she calls it Flopsy, but I call it Pie! It serves no useful purpose unlike yours though, just like it's hutchmates, Stew, Casserole and Pasty, at least our hens Tikka and Vindaloo produce eggs>:D

1 sandcast was sold to another lord who owns a racecourse in Towcester and made his own bikes beginning with "H".
