Steff's got half the remaining UK ones lol
i wish Pete i could live quite nicely if i did.
i was talking to a old biking mate in work today,he said there was a monkey bike on the internet for sale at £150k it was once owned by a beetle ,my monkey bike has a spider living in it ill take £5k for mine any day lol
Anyone know how many sandcasts were sold here?
@ hairygit
id say none ,not until the yanks decided they was collectable i would be very surprised if any came over at all before the eighties , i had never heard of the term sandcast not until well into the eighties
@ ash
i don't think lord denbigh knew or cared what model he had at the time, just that he had to have it ,he was high up in the FIM then so i bet he called in a few favours to get it , this is all hindside just like the terms k0 and sandcast
as you said in a earlier post ash probably only twenty CB750's came to the UK at first and probably in very small numbers there after , for whatever reason the japs never wanted us to have the early bikes probably too small a market here anyways the first UK bikes frame number is in the parts list so the japs knew exactly when we was gonna have them and not before lol .
all the CB750's I've seen in wales are not earlier than j reg meaning registered later than august 1970 where as i have English and Irish CB750's which come under the h reg plate and registered before august 1970
time to take the anorak off cheers guys
