« on: November 18, 2014, 06:06:16 PM »
Hi guys!
I just saw on local forum in Romania a product called XADO Revitalizant EX 120, that they say is really good for your engine  :-\, restores worn surface of engine cylinders, eliminates microcracks and scratches, increases and levels compression in cylinders and other stuff like this...
quote
Restores worn surface of engine cylinders, eliminates microcracks and scratches
Increases and levels compression in cylinders
Protects friction surfaces against wear
Reduces fuel consumption considerably
Restores engine capacity up to factory values
Increases service life of an engine by 3 times
Decreases the level of toxic components in exhaust gases
Decreases noise and vibration level

More details here: http://xado.us/revitalizants/ex120/revitalizant-ex120-motor-equipment

What is about this product?
Do you even hear of it?

Snake oil. It is claiming the inpossible therefore probably delivers nothing, might even do harm. To live up to its claims it would need to weld steel to extreme accurate tolerance, alloy, ditto and know where to and not to stick. Suppose it got confused and welded the oil restrictors completely shut and oil starved the top end.
Got a 500/4 with rust and a sidecar and loadsa bits. nice and original and been round the clock

It@s probably just like that STP stuff. Just thickens the oil. Of course you could just put 20w50 in.

If it's like that STP oil treatment, your engine will seem better, but you won't be getting far, ruins wet clutches, slip like crazy! A mate put some in a 400/4 many years ago, and even changing the oil and new clutch plates it still happened. In the end he had to strip the engine and wash the cases and all internals in parrafin before the problem was solved. :o
If it's got tits or wheels, it's hassle, if it's got both, RUN!!!
