Trig Yes remember it now.I also know you said a 500/4 would fit but not exactly the same I think that one is a 500 no winker wire tags. That one works out about 190 squid and that's if I get no import tax is it cheaper in the UK to get one chromed?I defiantly know here much more

Bitsa, The 500 one doesn't have a wire hole in the chrome guard and not all 750K2 ones have the indicator wire tags. I thought i sent you a picture of the 500 and 750 guards side by side. This is a repro mudguard in the link. I do know someone that has a NOS guard at £350.

Hi Bitsa
I had my K2 rear guard chromed at RS chrome (Manchester) at 60 squid plus VAT - http://www.rschrome.co.uk/
Mate sure you get rid of all rust before sending the mudguard because visible chrome was excellent but where I left partly removed rust on underneath (thinking they would remove and dress to suit their process) they plated over rust.  Chrome that was visible was excellent.  I just rotary wire brushed (my favourite tool!) it and etch primed/silver hamerited- Good value I think.

Mick
With all respects I get what you say but come on if I was and at times in the game every day I read all messages if someone offered me 50 quid to be there on a sunday morning I was there.
New clients are hard to come by and in to days world those who do answer quick will probably still be about in the next 10 years those who don't wont be.I emailed a seller a pro twice on eBay.UK about new tubes and got nothing in the end bought from frackin french who answered within the hour.I do not give praise to the french lightly

Bitsa, Cheap chromers are not good chromers. If someone did not mail you back it maybe because they know that you only want to spend a tenner ;D ;D ;D

Sorry Bitsa for the last couple of days I have been bombarded by people asking if I can do this and that or if I prep this can you do it cheaper.Sometimes its just easier and less aggro to just pick and choose.Iv tried to keep everyone happy in the past and it just bites you in the ass.
