Yamiya are selling a pair for 10000 yen. Not sure what the equates to in Sterling though.

Thats still about £54, better but still pricey :-*

I hear were you are coming from lads. I had a clock set for a K2 sitting on my desk, when a customer said , They look expensive.
Top yoke (unicorn)          £200
Clock kit                         £120
Bolt kit, with D washers   £26
Clock cushions                £32
Chrome clock dishes       £38
Clock chrome brackets    £20
Pilot light set                  £26
Then you can add a couple of hundred labour.
I was a little shocked when i added it up.

The KO and K1's are cheaper because the Pilot light's are in with the clock kit.

They may be Graham but TBH would you ever know when they were fitted? Plus Yamiya seem to produce stuff for Honda for their museum pieces so they appear to be good quality.

TBH I've never really looked at the Yamiya site until today and I can see why some people restore 750s rather than say other models, a LOT of parts are now being reproduced, seems to be harder to restore say a 500 or 550 than the 750 or 400. Nowhere near as many parts available for those models, plus I suppose because the twins aren't as popular as the fours I'd imagine the twins have more NOS stuff still out there

Your right on that Oddjob. 750 and 400's are so much easier than the 5's. The quality of Yamiya parts is good on some stuff and then lets itself down on other parts. I don't think the repro exhausts they do are double skinned, which is a shame seeing they have all the tooling.
