Cross head bolts.
« on: February 01, 2015, 09:01:12 PM »
I have been playing with the engine on the K1. cleaned the head, lapped the valves, new stem seals and put it back together after a general clean.
Trouble is I have run out of new cross head bolts and have still got the transmission cover to fit. Does anyone know where to get just the odd few or better still, anyone who does whole engine kits?

Here's how far I've got.

Stainless into alloy... A recipe for disaster unless you use copperslip grease on the threads.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

Hi Phil, I got a load of nuts and bolts from these people, they seemed fine to me and there is quite a variety.
