PRR handlebar width
« on: February 11, 2015, 08:15:08 PM »
silly question but can one of you PRR owners measure the width at the handlebars please. my gsxr squeezed nicely down the side of my house so i think it would be wise to check! the honda would not be the kind of bike to leave on the drive. ta.

yep..i'll measure mine tomorrow. Are you sizing one up for future purchase?I run the owners club for cb750f2 Honda britains, which obviously covers the Phil Read Replicas and pretty much know the 35-40 that exist.  John   07970288992

thanks whitey, that will fit nicely. there are some silly prices out there but i'm not a collector, just fortunate to have a bit of surplus cash for a change. i'm hoping for a runner in reasonable condition which would benefit from a complete restoration at some point. for the time being, it would be ridden when the sun shines. since hitting 55 all i want to do is ride as much as possible but my versys gets used mostly.

ukpete, i'm looking for a genuine item, is that what you have?

The last bikeshop I worked in to get any bike up the alley way to the workshop you had to fold in the mirrors

I have most of the original  parts except frame and handle bars even a brand new exhaust system, if i could find an original frame i would build it myself,

pete, i would prefer to buy a complete runner as i've spent a lot of money on resto jobs in the past, but thanks anyway.
