Personally I don't see the market for it unless it's a museum buying it, if you are planning to ride it the value will plummet as soon as it gets some miles on the clock so you are better off getting a used restored bike. There is a
Yamaha RD400 still in the crate that nobody has ever clapped eyes on since it was boxed up in the factory in 1979 that is supposed to be worth a fortune but "isn't for sale for any price", there are no plans to open the crate so it's not even going to be displayed so to me it's just a box.
Edit:- Apparently the RD400 which wasn't for sale at any price sold for $21,000 on ebay, I don't know if the new owner opened the crate or not.
