So can someone with a UK K2 put this to bed and clarify as there seems to be some mis-information out there. My understanding is that the UK only had the K2 up until the K6 arrived in 76 (wheras rest of world got k3,k4,k5 in the interim years). So were all UK k2 vin/engine matched in the range 2xxxxxx / E2xxxxxx?

I'm not sure if this is the original engine although there is no evidence to suggest otherwise and I have a big history file with it.
(there again a lot can happen in 40 years)
Either way it's another 750 back on the road.

Don't think so James, on the 500 where we only had K1 frame numbers went to 2****** and engine numberes where vastly different
