Road tax question
« on: April 30, 2015, 10:19:29 PM »
Are there any old duffers out there with remarkable memories that know how much road tax was for bikes in 1972?
I think you had to get either 4 or 12 months in those days or was that just for cars?

cant remember the cost but you could get the tax every 4months, handy if you took the bike off the road in winter

It's on Google somewhere.   I remember looking up the cost of tax in 1975
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

These guys might know: http://www.britishtaxdiscs.co.uk/gallery.php

I know that car tax in 1969 was £25.00 c/o a replica tax disc, hence the suggestion.

Good luck,

D.
