ht lead order
« on: June 29, 2015, 09:02:24 PM »
Quick question for an easy answer I hope...

Firing order is 1-2-4-3 as sat on the bike?

What it ht lead goes where? My coils are after market and have fairly equal length leads. So as sat on the bike,  from the left, what lead goes to what cylinder.

Thanks
Take it apart anyway he says.....

As they're aftermarket check how they're wired. Normally I think left coil is 1 and 4, right 2 and 3. I'm almost certain it's a wasted spark system so the order from each coil doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter what coil goes where, coil 1 & 4 is supplied by the blue wire, coil 2 & 3 is supplied by the yellow wire.

That's for a 400/4 and 550/4 anyway
