Newbie , carb Rich/weak

Hi folks, I'm a newbie to the forum from mid Somerset (Thatcher country) and to a 1976 550f1 that I have recently bought, Can someone advise me which way to turn the airscrew ( in or out ) to rich en or weeken the mixture on my 069A cabs , much appreciated for your help,

I don't know that specific carb but the general rule for 90% of carbs is a screw at the engine side controls fuel, one at the filter side controls air.
So engine side out is richer, filter side out is leaner.
