750 on ebay
« on: September 08, 2015, 09:01:49 PM »
I had a look at this today as it's only 5mins from my front door.

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=221873119841&globalID=EBAY-GB

It's in surprisingly good condition and from what I could see the faults listed in the description are all that's wrong with the bike. It started first time and sounds good to me. Might be a relatively cheap project for someone.

Very tempted, but that would mean delaying work on the 350 and yes I have made more progress on it. Just been a bit slow at updating pictures etc on here :-\

Tim. Off subject sorry. Did you get your paintwork done yet? Am picking mine up today and all I can say is it's stunning. The whole lot cost £380 plus the decals. Will post some pictures at weekend. Should I ask him if he will do another at same price. Cheers Roy.

Yes looks honestly described. There is something about the first and last bikes in Honda's ranges. I love the look of the original '69 CB750K0 but also admire the looks of the F2. Same with the CB250/350K  Original K0 stunning but also have a fondness for the final disk braked version, sadly never sold here but DK occasionally get them from the US and I think they were sold as the B version in Germany (New member Chris in Japan has one).

Was the paint proper candy Roy or metallic?

Not sure what he did with the paint Ash will ask him. Just told him to match the good paint on the back of a scrap headlamp ear, and it is spot on. In the sunlight the flake is superb, and looks really deep. I told him it was a Candy colour and gave him the paint codes, but I know he mixed the paint himself so not sure. Not bothered either as it matches and looks great.

Should have started a new thread for this really. Sorry Tim.

No problem Roy.
Still deciding on the final colour of the bike.
