Clutch question
« on: September 13, 2015, 05:14:26 PM »
Installed the kickstart lever today and as I did, I pulled up in the clutch lever in the right case cover and noticed it doesn't seem to be working right.
When I pull upwards, it moves easily at first, then I can hear a knock when it hits the clutch pushrod, and then I can't move it any further.   What's going on here?

The physical laws of leverage! You would need to be super strong to lift the clutch directly on the arm, the lever at the bars increases the physical effort from your hand, transmits it along the cable and lifts the clutch. Don't really think you have anything to worry about, if you haven't tried puulingit atvthe casing lever before it may well surprise you how much force it takes to do it's job
If it's got tits or wheels, it's hassle, if it's got both, RUN!!!
