Wheel builders.......
« on: September 30, 2015, 12:05:07 AM »
Can anyone recommend a good wheel builder.......chrome rims, stainless spokes for my CB750K4?

I have used CWS in the past but just want to see if there are any others who Forum members have used.

Preferably in the North West but happy to post in UK.

Thanks........

Any idea on prices from these people .. or if any are prepared to finish off if the spokes are pre-laced but not tensioned?

I have 8->10 wheels to do in the next month or so. Probably have a go myself but 'just in case'

Ash most of the ones I knew preferred to start from scratch and charged more to finish other peoples work. They ain't difficult to do if you have a proper spoke set, still got my number? I am away November 10th to 25th

Alan Atkinson is Southport Wheel Building, actually lives in Maghull near Liverpool. He is very good and competitively priced, www.wheelbuilders.blogspot.com you can ring him on 01512349831, he uses Elite Powder Coating in Bootle to powder coat the hubs and rims, their finish is like glass.
