I have tried to attach a few pictures of the Honda's, hope it succeeds! There should be three in total.

Plenty of wet days and tractors in Norfolk (my brother lives at Ledbury and my mother near to Ross-On Wye, so I know that area well too) however I always at least wipe the bikes over after each ride. This only takes 10 -15 minutes and keeps things fresh.

Twice a year, they receive a deep clean, engines sprayed with paraffin at high pressure and then dried with compressed air, whole bike polished etc.

That seems to do the job nicely!

I notice that only two pictures made it, sorry about that, it's down to my lack of skill at this end.

Have been trying for a while to get photos up on here without success. Think the problem is that they are on the phone and I can't work out how to compress the files to upload.

Tom, afraid that the third is a Kawasaki Versys 1000 GT, for my holidays etc. I have had quite a lot of "classics" (i.e. Benelli 750 Sei, Honda 350/4, Yamaha YR5 to name but a few) but always return to Honda at the end.

I almost bought a CB1100EX earlier this year (my brother had the first version in 2013) but in the end, realised that as a long - distance touring bike, it just didn't have the things that I needed such as heated grips (a £600.00 extra) and proper, fitted luggage, as well as weather protection. I also believe that when I am away, whilst "locking and leaving" a bike like the Versys poses no particular risks, something like the CB1100 might attract too much attention. In the end, my friend bought the bike in question in July.

For interests sake, you might like to know that the 500/4 has covered more than 70,000 miles! The 750 has, I believe covered around 45,000 miles.
