Looks to be a 750F2, comstar wheels and black engine being the main identifying features, although frame and engine numbers will give a definitive answer. Either way, colour is NOT original.
If it's got tits or wheels, it's hassle, if it's got both, RUN!!!

Plus one with Hairygit.

Its definitely an F2, alloy footrest hangers that only fit the F2 frame, Comstars, double disks, Awful Awful PD Carbs etc.

The exhaust is a non standard Motad (you wont find a NOS original anywhere, and when UKPete sells his I have first dibs). Motad is a good system though.

Should be a 1977/78 if its an F2 so reg is correct.

The colour is not genuine but is a near match to the standard blue bike.

Not a bad looking bike though, think I would put the standard decals on the tank and clear coat it (if the paint is good enough).

Its also looks like it has a K series seat fitted, should have a tail hump on the F2. Loads of those available on eBay etc but you would have to match the paint.

Here's a comparison picture with mine.

Nice one.

I concur at F2 and would add that exhaust valve guides wear out very quickly UNLESS they were replaced early with the very hard replacement parts

Thanks for all the info. My mate and I bought it together cos it was cheap and local. £950
It's been off the road for 3 years  but my mate had it running pretty quick with fresh fuel and a new battery.
Now needs an mot and will just ride as is next spring to see if I like the 750s. I,ve  only ridden the 400 so far.

It's obviously had a new seat and lost the rear seat unit body work at some point?

Yep as the others say its an F2, the best handling  , braking and fastest 750 sohc model, unfortunately the carb set up was never right, a nightmare to get them running good at tickover and lower revs, i have so many Nos parts for this model, i kinda had it in mind to do a real good restoration with the parts i have, but sadly it will make me more money to sell as parts,

Hi
The bike came with a motad on it 4:1.
The seller also gave me 4 of the pipes above. Can anybody identify it?
Thanks

Google is brilliant at this.  From the numbers on the end of the silencer (063/44) and a bit of searching...
