Are these indicators in the wrong place?
« on: November 22, 2015, 02:27:45 PM »
Daft question, but as I was putting the indicators back on I noticed they are set further back compared to pictures I have seen. The pictures show the indicators coming from the side of the headlamp.

Are mine odd? And if so, why? (no rude answers!)  ;)

Should be in the headlight, if it is a CB500 UK unit. What bike is it ?

It's a CB500 K1 US import.

Not only US. On later models the chrome covers were modified so your indicators are in the right place. If you want to know more look here (scroll down) http://www.honda4fun.com/home/faq/generali/111-cb500-differenze-k0-k1-k2

It is basically listing Italian and some European units that are different to USA, Canadian, UK units. The sub harness on the CB500K0 had round pins in all country's. This was changed to spade connectors on the CB500K1.
