Got a 500/4 with rust and a sidecar and loadsa bits. nice and original and been round the clock

I think we all feel sorry to see a bike in that state. However there are many "rose tinted types" otherwise, who actually anticipate restoring them. All possible in theory, by buying loads of bits ( complete bikes worth!). However those without said eye wear know the cost.......
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....
