But did you notice in the description that he states NOT to use fuel containing ethanol, as it can be a disaster with these old carbs? That basically means they cannot be used within the EU, unless you have the time to remove the ethanol yourself!

I think that statement should be applied to all old carbs shouldn't it. He's probably just making the point that Ethanol does actually eat these carbs alive, and your tanks and fuel lines etc.

Don't think that would reflect on the standard of his work which looks top drawer.

Am going to email him later and see if he does refurbishments of a customers own carbs, and prices.

Would be good to find somebody reliable at a cheap price. I hate doing the things myself, worst part of any rebuild for me.

So we have a Dutchman for our clock faces , one for our paintwork and now one for our carbs  ;D ;D Come on you British guys get yer clogs on  & pull yer finger out ...they are walking all over us in terms of expertise and service. This is all posted in good humour BTW  ;D ;D ;D ;D and not knocking our friends in the Netherlands. Only sampled Marcel's work so far ( Menno in the New Year) which is spot on.
