Hi all
« on: January 01, 2016, 01:15:57 PM »
Hi there, bought myself a restored 750 K2 a few months ago, love it. Allthough I can do basic maintenance I don't kid myself that anything serious is in my comfort zone, I live in Stockport and could do with finding a decent local(ish) mechanic who knows these bikes, any recommendations?
Chris.

Hi Chris, welcome aboard fella, with all the knowledge on here you can probably train yourself up and be able to do most things yourself , but i am sure someone will chime in and  have details of a mechanic near you

Do you have a 'Saint'  car then? Saw the white one at the NEC show in November.

Impressed and slightly envious  :-[ ... was it assembled at the Jensen factory or after they moved it back to Sweden?

manuals here if you fancy tinkering  yourself. The Mega 750 manual  is good

Hi there, no mines an S
Which means it was made in Swededn after Volvo took the manufacture off Jensen due to poor quality which is a shame for British engineering, and many thanks for the link.

All here Steve ... There was one at the top of my street when I was a kid ... always admired them. One of the '60's cars to employ the excellent British Laycock De-Normanville overdrive... betcha Orcadian knows all about them too... us two 'ulll lads are from the City of Culture you know  ;D ;D

Nice car, in black with red interior very elegant. Congrats and welcome here!
cheers, Uli
