early fireblade
« on: January 16, 2016, 09:43:15 PM »
Ok..my mate picked up a early 1992 fireblade. ..and quite simply I fancy one
The thing is I want a low mileage 1992 that's as standard as possible and preferably in the red white and blue.
Just wondering if anyone knows of any kicking around?.
I'm not after robbing one from anyone and am happy to pay the higher end as long as it is the right bike...
just a thought as I know you guys know guys who know guys etc

Cheers

I know where there is or was a 50th anniversary bog standard with about 80 miles on the clock........bloke wanted a lot for it I seem to recall but can`t remember the figure. Needs recommissioning obviously.

Cheers yozzer. .Thanks for the reply
If I can find one I really would like a very early one...I will look into it a bit more though. It would do no harm if possible to forward on the details to me if possible...
And gtb as above really any more info would be appreciated ?
I'm not completely ruling out later models but it's the 92 model that is top of the list
Thanks again for the replies

The RRN (92) is the K0 of FireBlades.

Good luck finding one. I tried a few years back and it was impossible to find one that hadn't been screwed with or crashed for reasonable money.

I guess I should have taken the plunge (it was about £2500 IIRC)
I'll bet you need £4k now...

That's kind of why I want one...cracking bike and a little investment. ..my mate was lucky it's a 92...bog standard..12k miles and one owner..
Ticks all the boxes for a collectable honda.
I've offered him loads but I don't want to bug him as there is nothing more annoying ..
But saying that he does get bored of stuff real quick

Working on it, bike is still there, not straight forward, current owner a bit reclusive, you are 2nd in queue.
