Might as well get it insured Mick, classic insurance on that will be peanuts and you'd be covered on fire and theft if you don't already have "laid up" insurance.

well it failed on front tyre which had a crack in the sidewall and a fork seal that blew on the way so not so bad, had a couple of advisories, rear tyre has minor cracks due to age, I intended to replace both anyway. Ride to test was interesting as it was not running properly to begin with so needed a handful of throttle, not good on wet roads and 15 year old tyres! It did settle down so trip home a bit smoother! Back into the garage again.

New tyres and fork seal resulted in a test pass today! nice ride only a few miles but great to be on a bike again, cold but happy!

Mine has been well used and abused over 70,000 miles then abandoned for 15 years. I have not restored it, just repaired as required and left the rust and grime as it was. Hopefully I can get some riding in next summer.

That looks very tidy James, is that another import? Very popular bike in USA more so than here, don't think we got the yellow ones in the UK. Missing the grab rail on mine so had to make other arrangements for the rear indicators, the mounting brackets like your bike are hard to find. Are you going to run it or sell on?

James.............That Yellow Wing is just lovely. Not a big fan of Yellow bikes I must say....I always liked the early Wing in Black or the Dark Red....but I could find room for that one in my garage. It's in fantastic condition and a credit to it's PO.

Maybe I could sell one of my lovely Daughters to a White Slave Trader (or all 8 of my Grandkids !) and raise some some cash for it (only joking).

You can't sell that James, it's a stunner, funny how time changes things, I can remember thinking that they were ugly old buses years ago, same with mk2 jags (sold mine 12 years ago, wish I hadn't 🙁), but that really is a cracking bike.
