great late afternoon/evening out  today

a summer visit to Bourton on the Water, maybe the most popular tourist venue in Cotswoldshire,

the just down the road to Cold Ashton, and the Plough Inn,for a Biker night evening,

lots of bikes, didn't see another sohc ,

 food great,and the beer also,so I was told ,

but the live band were excellent,
well worth a round trip of 122 miles

VJMC day at Ace Cafe today. Fantastic day, I went with my 11 year old son riding pillion on my RD200. Saw 4 400/4s there. Great for my research!

Another summer of riding ended today as I SORN'd Hettie  ready for winter storage. Did about 2.5k investigating my new home county of Lincolnshire and and the surrounding areas.Even rode her over the Humber Bridge to Hull to see Ash.Fantastic biking roads around here. No major problems, ran like a dream. Only slight issue was when I was going into a corner a bit too fast, went to change gear and the circlip on the gearchange lever had come off and the lever was dangling  :o :o :o Never mind, managed to get back home without changing gear with no harm done. SORN'd the Thundercat as well so will be using the Honda CD25Ou and the car for the winter. Looking forward to next year already   :) :) :)

agrees with Julie, its still warm(ish) and as long as its dry I shall continue to ride, not much point in SORNing,as its Historic anyway,
and I am already planning for next year,
I fully intend to get to the far east,or close to David Silvers, and explore "bomber" country as Lincolnshire was once called,
and hopefull the sohc clan can have another meeting,on till the end of august when I have booked for the Classic TT,

best wishes all,and safe riding

As with John, I'm not SORNing the 400 but I've off roaded it to catch up on some maintenance ;  head skimmed,  newer cam, and a bit of powdercoating..
I'll be usung the BM all winter with it's heated grips.  With all the moron car drivers I have to endure on a daily basis,  I need get out for a ride to restore my soul.
