Thanks, that explains the parts on your bike.

Does anybody know up to which VIN the recessed ignition switch was used on CB750 KO ?

Same with wrinkle tank. Here I doubt, if there is a cutoff VIN.
My 18.xxx KO has a wrinkle tank but the 16.xxx KO has not. Both are genuine, pretty sure about that.

The Netherlands? Not really. Only in Germany. Rear light and Turnsignal unit.

In The Netherlands they were like in England.

Hi Menno....sorry....

...check parts list.  On KO, K1, K2

BTW: you will get parcel soon, I´m waiting for gas tank and side cover.

Thank you, Mick

Very nice bike, the german bikes have strange indicators compared to most other countries
pete

Agree. But I like them and the small tail light as well.
At least makes the bikes unique and, BTW, rare.

As far as I know, Honda Germany sold in total only 503 CB750 in the years 1969/1970 (KO and K1 together).
I don't know the KO-only figure.
Plus some bikes in Netherlands. I assume there had been 200-300 KO sold in this spec.

Are there any British specific KO parts? At first spot, I see a black tail light bracket and the front fender.

Can you still use those front number plates? That looks really groovy!

Thanks Ashimoto, I noticed you are one of the KO - specialists here. Will need your knowledge soon.

Here is the red 18.9xx KO.
A German version, bought that a few years ago. The one and only PO died at the age of 80. Got it with all the original paperwork.

Has about 244.000 km and is not restored. Seat is a new Yamiya, but I have the original one

Thanks for the welcome!

Yes, I'm in the sohc4.net, followed the trace of UKpete and found my way to this forum here.

Started the documentation of my cleaning and soft restoration on the bluegreen KO there, but could do this here as well if welcomed.

Here are the kawas. The Z1-R is a typical garage queen that went from collector to collector over the last decades. So only 28 tkm.
Its my second Z1-R, I had one in the 80th and 90th, sold that and badly regretted that soon. I was happy to find this one a few years ago.

The zrx is registerred and driven regularly. In fact, this is my 3. zrx. Good bikes.

Those hideous shot-glass turn-signal lenses are a genuine German monstrosity... dunno what their TUV was thinking there...

Don't know why, but Netherlands had them too. 8)

Cheers,
Uli

Hi,
I am 55, live near Stuttgart (Germany) and have HONDA and Kawasaki bikes since 1978.
Actually, I own two CB750 (KO), a Kawasaki z1-R and a Kawasaki ZRX1200R.

Currently do a soft restauration on a CB750 KO that's been sitting in a farmers barn since 1977 and try to bring her back into live.

Oh, and my name is Uli
