Must weigh a ton.
Also probably not a good idea to take it out in the rain.

Nice chain guard. Yes and why indeed.

I’m not sure that an MOT tester would need to go further than those batteries (which may or may not be goosed) being held in by zip ties! I’ve failed on a car battery held in place by gravity and rust, I’ve also seen one flying through the air during an accident.
At least all the wiring is easy to get at. My guess is a college project, whether it was a success or not we’ll never know.

OMG! That's awful, even for a work in progress. I love the left front indicator. 🤪

I don't know, I've seen people pay a lot more for much more shoddily built stuff, anything Italian springs to mind for build quality and style, and americas pride and joy hardly dangerous for reliability

The small battery at the top is for Reserve Fuel!

Meh, nothing's ever gone wrong with my H-D (that a 12 month engine rebuild and a new £1200 crankshaft and rod assembly wouldn't fix).
-
It definitely needs a metal sub-frame and some coachwork!
-
I would wonder what the effect of suspension travel on chain tension would be...until I realised that with the weight of those batteries...it will probably be bottomed out anyway...
-
What is the rev counter used for??. And one of the front indicators is pointing backwards. Maybe the bike goes backwards also.
-
Wouldn’t take it as a gift, rather stick a motor on my shed at least no fu##er would be able to see me going down the road. You can’t polish a turd but they’re trying to sell one

Yep, like a milk float shaped frame ;D

Unfortunately, it's collection in person. Nailsea is a bit too far. Even if I lived in Nailsea it would be too far.

I think I have worked this out ...the title says 'EXC project' .... clearly that stands for EXC-rement .....
-
Dependent on the type of batteries. motor and controller it could be worth it for those alone
-
Moggy on Quest TV "Vintage Voltage" did a far better and neater job on a Royal Enfield conversion, and that's in this country.
-
@moorey ...if those are the popular current choice of Lithium polymer batteries, there usability would depend a lot on whether they have been properly handled. Leaving them fully charged or fully discharged is a good way to ruin them....They need a storage charge and last best when regularly cycled through a charge discharge cycle.
Really wouldn;t want to spend money on used cells unless I knew the seller.....

Is that battery colour ‘facemask blue’?

OK....now tell me where the gold top would go? ;D
