Whatever you do, don't email Cruzinimage asking for rings. I did just that about 12 months ago. I didn't get a reply and they blacklisted me on eBay, people asking questions are troublemakers. So now if I want to buy off them I have to order direct from their own website. Not completely bad as their website is cheaper than eBay. They are a really strange bunch of people. And while were at it, don't buy anything off them that has rubber components or gaskets, they are total shite.
You won't believe this then, I asked a question on the ebay listing 'can I buy a ring, I've broken one' and they emailed me straight back. Total cost is £17, which waters my eyes a bit, but at least it'll be from the same supplier so I know what I'm getting. Cheers all!

Unfortunately can't help you with the piston ring. I'm still trying to work out what you were doing with the feeler gauge near the piston ring once fitted 🤔🤔🤔
They weren't 'fitted' at that point. Being very worried about splitting a ring, I was being really careful and used two to cover each of the ends of the ring as it went over the top gap, so it couldn't drop in where I didn't want it. (bit like this: Then it slipped...

Any chance someone has a single (new) black piston ring i could buy? I have a cruzinimage standard size piston set, all went together ok but i ham-fistedly broke a black one when my feeler gauge slipped.

So next question then; is David Silver the only supplier? My Japanese isn't good, so i fear the answer is yes.

I think the camera flash had a lot to do with it. I was highly unsure about the number on its own until i looked at the pics.

Hello. Quick sanity check if I may (Oddjob, Julie, etc...)
I have a case with BBBAB on it, and my crank looks like this: [ Guests cannot view attachments ] [ Guests cannot view attachments ]
I think I need 4 sets of green and one set of brown mains and four sets of green big end bearings. B1, B1, B1, A2, B2 2B, 3A, 3A, 3A
That seem right?

I was considering this the other day actually. I have a crank with one still attached, I will be taking it to my local hardware supplier tomorrow to ask them to try a bunch of screws in, when I get the right one I'll let you know.
You just grease it up and wind it in, right, same as a bicycle crank extraction?

I'm pretty sure the camera is showing it up a bit. I don't have a printer, but a guy in another one of our offices does. I can't tell you what the printer is or what filament it's using - but I'm pretty happy with it so far! I might need a couple more done, so I'll investigate what the resolution is at that point.

I have a button! Very pleased with this, thank you so much! [ Guests cannot view attachments ] I will need to excavate the back of it to take the metal slot, but that's pretty straightforward with a small drill bit.
I imagine loads of people will be after this STL file now...

That's the little bit yes! If you could take as many pics as possible, perhaps put it on a flatbed scanner, I'm sure that would be a good way to start! Thank you!

I have nothing except a stump of metal with a hole that comes out of the switchgear. I'd love someone to help though!

Has anyone come across any useful 3d printer files at all? I'm specifically thinking of the horn button on the 400, but I've run out of Google-fu trying.
