Hi all, the bike I am building is a 550f & wish to delete the clocks , ignition etc for a single clock up top , I also wish to delete the 550f ignition and replace with a 550 k one on the side . The ignition DS sells only has 4 wires but my F has 5 pins , does anyone know what the difference is between the two . Cheers Dave

Hi all, looking for a decent complete rear wheel to replace the 16 inch one that is currently one one of my bikes as it looks odd. I am open to PX if that helps as I have a few bits eg: tank , side panels , grab rail , big rear light. .Cheers Dave

Hi Ken , I had a 75 candy jade green 550 and it had the same tank as this one , I always thought it was a K1 , didn't the K3 have the same cap under flap as the 550F?

My apologies Ken the tank is from a k but not sure if 500 or 550 , the seat is a K too. The rest is an F model . The seat does not rock at all as I fitted some extra seat rubbers where the rear fender bolts across the frame , took a bit of fettling but fits great , as to the indicators I wanted to keep the originals but couldn't get small enough stemswith that thread size that would fit on the front . Didn't want grab rail as the F one I have didn't fit right with the seat . I never thought about the forks flexing I may have to source a bracket or a short mudguard.

Delkivic sound is great it's quite rorty but not excessive & a perfect fit it even came with a stand stop sounds nearly as good as my Kerker . Only been for a few miles test ride but all seems OK at the moment 👌

Many thanks for all the helpful suggestions, the problem has been solved with much checking of wires I noticed the the the wires that come from the bottom of the stator the white one had come loose but being underneath I couldn't see it , a quick push back together and she is charging up to nearly 14v from a fully charged battery 😀

Thanks Ted , Battery is on charge so will see what happens but same Battery on other bike showed charging when revved . I asked Mick the previous owner and he said he checked it when rebuilding it and it was putting out 14v so obviously something amiss . Electrics are like magic to me so not overly confident with this 😒

Any ideas on what to check first, bearing in mind that I am electrical challenged although I can swap out some parts from my other one to check , eg rectifier etc .

Hi all , when checking over my bike I tested the battery with my multi meter, the battery was 11.84v with the bike off . With it switched on it dropped to 11.45v and with it started and revving it rose to 11.49v . I put the battery on my other F1 and when revved it rose to nearly 12.8 v . Does anyone think I have a charging issue 🤔
