Wish I was coming with you Ash. Two things please if you would, can you ask them if they have a complete Triumph T100 or T120 unit engine for sale, and secondly why the hell do they keep pulling bikes out of eBay auctions when there are bids on them. Hi and welcome to the forum. Interesting little project you have going there, we don't get many of those on here. Don't want to rain on your parade, but be careful what you paint your parts with as some paints do not adhere very well to zinc based products such as cold galvanise spray. An etching primer is usually required first. Good luck with the project, if you need advice just ask. Cheers.

Cases are all fixed now. Couldn't tap the piece back into shape without severe stress on the cases. So I cut out the offending piece and prepared it for welding. Alan took it to some guy near Blackpool airport who made a great job of welding it up. Thanks for all the help guys, again. Alan's project now back on track.

I don't believe that. DK have pulled the Bonneville auction as well. Somebody should report them to eBay. The rules are that you can only pull an auction in exceptional circumstances. Not 2 a day because you had better offers. Bang out of order.

Well, the Bonneville's at 4.5K already with 6 days still to go. Why do people bid so early, all it does is push the price through the roof. If it ends up over 6K then the 3K for restoring it properly (without even paying for your own time) that's 9K. You can buy a superb Bonneville for that, so why bother. Whats the matter with these people?

Cheers Ash. Have put that in my watch list. Betting it goes between 4 & 5K which means when its done there's no meat left on the bone again. Amazing what people are paying for rough Bonnevilles, although this one is pretty nice.

I keep seeing people looking for a new winter project. Well I've just been out to the garage intending to fit some new coils on the 350 and "Sod that for a game of soldiers" its bl***y freezing. I'm now looking for the next summer project.
