Should be able to find them from the part number. Which model CB750 have you got?

Thanks Steve and the same to you and all SOHC members. Not been up this early on Christmas day since the kids were 'errr' kids. ;D

Unfortunately, global warming in Britain usually means rain. >:(

Project Board / Re: Dehydration plug
« on: December 24, 2015, 08:25:55 AM »
If it's absolutely necessary, I think I would rather squirt some engine oil in the bores and spin it over with the plugs out to evenly coat the bores valves etc.

From experience with ACF50, it appears to quite good at removing oil from surfaces so 'I to' would be hesitant to spray it into the bores.

Of course I may be completely wrong, may be best to email the manufacturer of ACF50 after Christmas.

Running the engine to full hot once a week would probably be a better bet all round. Make sure it is fully hot though or your exhausts will rot away.

CB350/400 / HT Leads on coils
« on: December 24, 2015, 08:17:09 AM »
Discovered yesterday that after the initial superb results with the 350F that I now have a 3.5 cylinder bike.

When I put the coils on (originals) I noticed that one HT lead was turning in the coil and was quite loose. But decided to go along with them anyway.

Not sure at this point if its on the bad running cylinder (Christmas duties prevent vital garage time, Bah Humbug) but from memory I think it may be.

Anyone else had this problem.

Cheers and Happy Christmas.

He pulled the sale on this in the last hours, only 1 bid on it at £1500. A daft time of year to try to sell a bike, Christmas and heavy storms don't add up to biking Nirvana.

Good info Ash.
I commented on my 350F exhaust's when I had to cut them down that they weren't copper plated first.
I said at the time that I would probably have to get them redone at some point.
I guess from your info that they are correct.
Good news, I think?

Hi John. Nice to see you back on the forum again.

Don't know if its any relevance to what your doing, but I am looking at fitting early CB600 front and rear to an F2.
Have got the bits, and it looks from the tape like a reasonably easy swap. Trying to keep it all Honda.

Do you remember me coming up and buying the F2 frame from you summer before last. Have a look at what KNE599V looks like now.

CB350/400 / Top buy 350F (still 2 days to go)
« on: December 22, 2015, 05:12:52 PM »
Now this is worth the price. What a great start point for a resto. All there bar the exhausts.  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-cb-350-four-cylinder-classic-/131680957435?hash=item1ea8cbf3fb:g:UYsAAOSwk1JWdqF6   May end with a bidding war, who knows.

Wondering now why I went to all that trouble rebuilding one when I could have just bought this and stuck some new pipes on it?

Yeah I looked at those, they sell on eBay as well. Top quality but still doesn't address the frame triangulation issue. Remember they are a motor
sports company and this is not really intended for road use.
