After redex no sticking floats no leaky carbs ticking over lovely
well worth the 6 quid!!

He has just told me he said something like 'shite in the carbs will stay in the carbs unless you take them apart and clean them'

My wifes 250 would only run with easy start after a lay up and stale fuel in the tank / carbs, a month soaking in fresh petrol did nothing, but a week in nearly neat redex had it running ok, it can dissolve some crap in a carb, not everything, worth undoing the drain bung with the tap off, if you are tight like me then catch the dumped fuel in a cap of a spray can or something and bung it in the tank again.

it's also brilliant for freeing up seized cables.  Just mix with a little bit of old engine oil and put in a funnel at the top of the cable.

Wouldn't recommend that for genuine Honda (teflon lined) cables though.

It's great for storage to avoid carbs furring up, the bottles with a thin spout on them let you squirt it straight down the fuel hose after disconnecting it from the tank.

It would most likely dissolve the carbs, engine, frame and everything else.   By the morning there would just be the seat, tyres and some hoses left.
