It may be little progress but it is important progress. That oil cooler must have cost a pretty penny to have made, even the 3d prototype would be expensive to make.
Love the throwaway comment of 'managed to pick up some original shocks and some works items' I assume you didn't have to trade a kidney for those

The details really do take time for sure. The 3D prototype cost less than £2 in materials and was printed on a budget printer so actually a super cost effective way of producing a space model for checking.

No kidneys were part of the deal, the shocks are from a good friend in the UK who I have helped out this year with a few other things and the original pipe came from the states following an estate sale - I had to buy quite a lot of spares that I didnt want in order to scoop it!

Another piece of this jigsaw of a build that has been ticking over is the front fairing mount, I managed to borrow an original HRC part to copy, this is super wonky and pretty poorly made, to the point that it is actually quite hard to replicate something that is that bad!

I totally get that this part was just made for racing, but usually the HRC quality is quite good...

Original in black, prototype in bare steel:









I have modelled up the rubber parts in CAD which I will print or cast in TPU and will bond to my the mount when complete:
