Just been up to the local car booty....and picked up all this chrome trim for a quid...
It's just a tad bigger than the original but I reckon I could bond it on the tank and probably a seat too...
Do you think it would be passable...

No reason why not, put it as hot water as you can stand to get it round the tank curves

It is very hard to find the original tank trim (I was lucky). The seat trim is available >>
