This morning I had an email from Tapatalk advising that they had sent me $5 by PayPal as part of the monetization of the site.

I don't remember ever setting this up and would certainly have disable ads if I had known.

I don't get ads on Tapatalk though. Does anyone else?

Has anyone ever clicked on a link that took them to a commercial site?

Before I turn it off, I'd like to understand how I have managed to "earn" $5  :)

Steve. I use Tapatalk pretty much exclusively to view the forum on my iPhone. I get the ads, but they're very unobtrusive and don't bother me in the slightest. If you're getting a small kick-back then I don't see any reason to disable them. ? See attached image of what I get - normally just a small ad at the bottom of the thread you're viewing at the time.

It's an iPhone / Android app that makes it easy to view multiple forums on your mobile device Ash. It's brilliant - also makes it very easy to upload images directly from your phone. Happy to walk you through setting it up.
