Brown wire with blue stripe
« on: November 07, 2016, 05:23:01 PM »
The bit I hate on any build, bloody wiring. I have a Brown with a blue stripe coming from the right hand switch on a UK K2. Can't find what this is to match with or what it is for. Any ideas ? ? ?

Taking a stab that wiring colour coding is pretty much the same across different models, according to the wiring diagram on the 400 there is a Brown/Blue wire from the right hand switch which is the 'Position' light (so live when switch is in either P or H position). Again according to the diagram this connects to a Brown/Blue wire in the loom and thence to the 7A Taillight fuse.
Don't know if things are the same for the 750 but it's one theory.

OK, sorted. I am getting good at  this wiring lark, It is for the stupid extra Hi/Lo switch on the UK 750 and 500 four. You were on the right lines Chris ;)
