I'm slowly convincing him to take his bike test so should be sweet then.
I think what started it was about the same time everyday you can hear a Kwaka start up and he insists on letting it warm up before riding off.

Getting the enemy on your side, great tactics!, got a chance to give the new machine a once over earlier, thought I'd been done for a while!, the gearbox appeared to have an issue, wouldn't go into 3rd, anyway it turned out to be air in the clutch fluid, now bled and the gearchange is spot on, brakes to free off this weekend and various other small jobs then hopefully MOT next weekend, on the brief run I just took it for it felt great, if it's as good to ride as I think it's going to be I might spend a few grand and get a really nice newer one in the summer!.
