Which features on here can 'Lurkers' use. Can they PM ? Do they have access to desperately seeking & stuff for sale on here ?

I just logged off to see what facilities were available,

Can see stuff wanted but obviously can’t reply or pm without being logged on and therefore a member.  But many lurkers are members!  Are you wondering how many posts before full facilities are available - dunno.

From what I have worked out, if they register as members, they can access everything even if they have never even made a single post or comment.

If I pop in without logging on, it all works apart from photos - I can see ones  I hosted on photo image etc, but a lot are missing, there’s just a paper clip where they aren’t.

I’m not sure why, or even where they are hosted.

It's just that I had an item for sale on here for yonks and no takers. Then, out of the blue, someone asked me if it was still available. Then shortly afterwards I got a PM from a Lurker saying they wanted to buy and sent me instant payment so no problems at all with the transaction. Mistakenly though , because of the time frames involved,  I wrongly assumed the 'lurker' was the the guy asking if they were for sale but seems the person asking in the 1st place was a full member, when I  checked back. Just surprised that a 'Lurker' can PM someone other than SteveD or even have access to buy stuff for sale.
