Lurkers

--- Quote from: AshimotoK0 on February 07, 2018, 10:19:27 AM ---It's just that I had an item for sale on here for yonks and no takers. Then, out of the blue, someone asked me if it was still available. Then shortly afterwards I got a PM from a Lurker saying they wanted to buy and sent me instant payment so no problems at all with the transaction. Mistakenly though , because of the time frames involved, I wrongly assumed the 'lurker' was the the guy asking if they were for sale but seems the person asking in the 1st place was a full member, when I checked back. Just surprised that a 'Lurker' can PM someone other than SteveD or even have access to buy stuff for sale.

I think they have to be a registered member to PM you Ash, the true lurkers that don't join can't send PM s as they need to be registered/logged in to send/ receive messages.

UK Pete:
Bloody lurkers, they remind he of people who sit in pubs and public places listening to other people's conversations ,laughing wryly to themselves nodding and disagreeing as if thete involved. same sort of people who just poke their head above the parapet once in a blue moon just to get something they want then retreat
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I wonder how many lurkers will read this
