Cb400 F2 Swingarm Removal
«

Hi,
might be a daft question. I'm stripping my Honda down, I pulled the swing arm bolt out and I expected the swing arm to fall to the ground. It didn't fall out
, I gave it a wiggle but it wont dropped down. Have I missed something or do I need to persuade it out?
thanks in advance

Yes its just held in place by the bolt so in theory it should juts drop down. Over time its probably found itself at home and from memory mine required a gentle tap with a rubber mallet and some WD40 and she dropped out.

Took mine out on a 750 recently; exactly as Integra says, just needs a bit of patience and careful use of the mallet and it frees up eventually. The other thing I found was to keep it ‘square’ when tapping out.
