Should the plastic side covers on a 1976 CB750 F1 be the same colour as the paint on the bike? Mine are painted black, but look like there is red underneath the black. If they should be red, does anyone know what paint is a match for the Honda red?

Wen I bought in 1977 a brand new F1, has the machine a red petroltank and black sidecovers.

I found out that the UK 76F1 supposedly had grey sidecovers, my bike is red.

Bit late on this one but better late than never, I bought my CB750F new in 1976 and the side panels were grey.
