Hi All, bike is new to me, I know all bikes vary in starting techniques etc, but from cold anybody go the best method, ie no choke, or half/full choke, leave throttle or open a touch, my bike seems to have a mind of its own although just rebuilt and I know things will settle, being used to classic two strokes for years this is a new way of starting things! hopefully someone can recommend the best option to use all the time that has more experience than me on starting up what I have decided to call "Turbine"  bike when hot is instant start no problem, thanks for any advice chaps or ladies

With mine I do the following: fuel on, choke on, kill switch set to off, throttle full open, hit starter/kick start till oil light goes out, flip kill switch to run and hit starter/kick start with half throttle.

All our old Hondas have differing needs on start up. Some full choke, some no choke, some somewhere in between. The same with throttle positions. But, they all start very easily, even the ones we have totally recently rebuilt.

Mines a full choke, hit the starter, choke off and ride type bike, my old CB750K1 was the same, but you own and your bike's preferences may differ.

Mines full choke, couple of quick twists of the the throttle to squirt a bit of fuel from the accelerator pump (only works on PD carbs) and starts first touch of the button, sometimes needs throttle slightly open when hot.

Mines full choke, no throttle until it fires, does not like throttle until its running, then ease choke off and away

All my Hondas seem to be the same full choke, no throttle as soon as it fires slowly introduce throttle, ride and gently ease choke off wile on the move.
The 750 seems a little reluctant to idle on its own a first but once on the move its as good as gold.
