Had a lovely ride out today to the North Yorkshire Moors and Whitby. Found a stunning place called Levisham, in Rydale. Talk about up hill down dale, there was plenty of that and the scenery was stunning. Sheep all over the road and saw a steam train chuffing along. Took a slight wrong turn between Levisham village and Levisham Station, it looked like a small lane, then it turned into a farm track but we kept going until we were off roading. Good thing we were on the CD250's......You find the best places on a Honda 😁. Just over 250 miles today. Thanks to Ash and Cathy for the cuppa on the way up there.

Also saw this T500 in Whitby. 1972 'L' reg. An absolute stunner. The chap bought it out of a private collection last year, 12000 miles and totally, totally original. I had one back in the day but mine was a pile of shite, this one was just beautiful.

Out today. Abergavenny. Usk.Chepstow.I wanted to cross the bridge. But it was closed. So Monmouth and home. Mainly twisty roads as the A466 is closed

It's great the sun is finally out and we can enjoy ourselves again, great photos and little stories of why people go where they do👍.
I was out on my first IAM observed ride yesterday on my VF, absolutely fantastic, loved all 4 hours of it, great roads, great observers and I learnt a whole heap of riding tips. I need to practice more before booking the next ride.

I used to be an observer.
Using the technique when riding/driving helps you stay out of hazardous situations .
Also it gives you an edge over other road users

Great to see Trigger & Julie when they popped in Thursday on their way to Nork York Moors... Pretty amazing that Graham accepted a cuppa in a David Silver mug (Sliver or Long John Silver as he calls him)

Out and about today not on the bike but bike related. Called in at the Marrowbone and Clever in Kirmington. Great food and service. If you are nearby and on the bike call in well worth a visit
